Assisted Living

· General Description: The Assisted living is licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services and owned and operated by the Chateau Lake San Marcos Homeowners Association. It is a nine room facility offering assisted living for both short and long-term stays. Although Chateau residents are given admittance priority, and charged a preferable rate, it is open to anyone who qualifies in the community at large. Daily and monthly charges are listed in the Ancillary Fee Schedule.

· Staffing and Resident Services: The Assisted Living is staffed twenty-four hours a day. Assistance is provided with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, personal grooming, laundry, dining and medication monitoring. Residents have their own communal dining room and lounge, buy may also us the main dining room and other facilities in the Community Center, and join in any activities available to Chateau residents.

· Visiting Times: Residents are asked to remember that this facility is home to a number of people. In order to offer privacy and maintain personal dignity, please plan visits during convenient daytime or early evening hours and must sign in at front door and check in with staff upon arrival.

· Services to Chateau Residents: In addition to services provided to residents of the Assisted Living, the staff also offers some limited services to residents of Chateau condominiums, such as blood pressure checks and flu shots. They also respond to emergency calls from individual units, summoning paramedic assistance where necessary, and staying with the resident until they arrive.
